lyrics
I met her there by the stairs,
She seemed to catch my eye
An unknown love sent from above,
The last before I die
We carried on through the years,
Getting worse and worse
As time went on our love was gone,
Never ending curse
I couldn’t see why she left me,
All I could see was death
I’d made my mind to leave behind,
My body, my life, my breath,
I’ll buy a gun, Have some fun,
Blowing my brains out the back,
A helpless try to make her cry,
As I perish into the black,
She kissed me, she killed me,
The love that once filled me
Turned black inside my heart
She kissed me, she killed me,
Life no longer thrills me –
Death to me my only friend,
Soon to be just a memory
I sit and stare at the gun
On this night, a silent night,
My life of death has begun
On to my lips the cold barrel sits,
Aiming for my instant death,
I pull the lever, its now or never,
As I Breathe my final breath,
She kissed me, she killed me
You know I go willingly
Leaving this world behind
Num Skull’s ‘Ritually Abused’ is truly a forgotten gem primed for rediscovery. Sounding like a demonic blend of Possessed
and Slayer ‘Ritually Abused’ sounds as fresh and relevant today as it did when it was first released over 25 years ago. Touching on moments of death-metal, grind, thrash and speed ‘Ritually Abused’ is the ultimate document of a metal band that ‘shoulda been huge’!...more

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
